ANU Productions brought to life one of the most significant events in Irish history – the Treaty Debates.
Poet and writer Theo Dorgan spent over 3 years working with the original documents, fearlessly and scrupulously replaying the debates in the words of those who participated exploring both the historical and contemporary relevance of the debate.

This event ran in four parts over 4 days, on the 14th, 15th, 17th & 18th of December 2022 for live (in person) audiences at Earlsfort Terrace, in association with the National Concert Hall.
Digital audiences were also invited to experience a durational (edited) broadcast on Saturday 07th January 2023 on rte.ie/stagingthetreaty. Starting at noon. Broadcast in real-time, it was available to view until Monday 09th January.
