FurthrFest 2022: PIX-ART researchers exhibit with Graphics and Vision (Trinity College Dublin)

The presented work is a creative experiment involving the audio-visualization of live data generated by the Perception Neuron Studio motion capture system, a lightweight, portable motion capture suit by Noitom. This demonstration features interdisciplinary work-in-progress by researchers collaborating across the Schools of Creative Arts and Computer Science and Statistics. Researchers involved include Choreographer Caoimhe Wandel-Brannigan (PIX-ART), Computer Graphics Designer Donal Egan (RADICal), Motion Capture and Game Engine Developer Bharat Vyas (CLIPE- ITN Horizon 2020), Musician / Sound designer Mauricio Flores Vargas (ADAPT), and Research Assistant Pradnya Shinde (GV). The project is facilitated by research fellows Néill O'Dwyer (PIX-ART) and Gareth W. Young (GV) and Ass. Prof. Rachel McDonnell (GV) and Prof. Carol O'Sullivan (GV).
