Performance created by the group Third Rail Projects, and commissioned by Denver Center for the Performing Arts, first premiered on the 17th of May in 2016. Its creators described it as "immersive theatre" and it was critically acclaimed. The piece took place in a warehouse adapted for the performance with the use of scenography, which was constituted of varied objects and settings where the audience was allowed to explore, and the participants were guided through different rooms and situations where the actors performed a series of scenes, although the spectators were also encouraged to answer to their questions and participate in several actions and moments.
The spaces were separated by doors that led to dream-like, nostalgic reflections about love, life, memory and death. Participants were also offered a cocktail and took part in a fictional funeral, where rain played an important role.
A new companion for this performance, "Sweet & Lucky: Echo" premiered in 2025.
Main critics have stated the power of this performance to transmit feelings of melancholy and nostalgia, and to trigger emotional and philosophical reflection on the topics of memory, loss, and love. Third Rail Projects affirmed that they were happy with the reception and outcome of the multiple performances.
There was a limited number of spectators for each performance, in order to make it more personal and intimate. This created the effect of a one-to-one performance even though there were several participants. The scenography, sound and visual images were carefully planned in detail, which created a thought-provoking and revealing experience. The actors showed a great capacity of interpreting reality and emotion with expertise, and dances and abstract movements were also included, which made of the performance a varied collection of different forms of expression.
It also contributed to highlight the local talent of Colorado, as the main creator of the piece went back to his homeland to pursue this artwork.
