Within Touching Distance is a patient-led artwork, asking audiences to consider the ways that we interact at a sensory level with the world.
Jim Henson's The Storyteller: The Seven Ravens
Narrated by Neil Gaiman (Good Omens, Doctor Who), The Storyteller: The Seven Ravens is an extension of The Jim Henson Company’s popular franchise, that re-envisions folk stories, legends, and fables from around the world. In The Seven Ravens, a young girl sets out on an adventure to save her seven brothers from a curse that turned them into ravens. The AR book experience will allow people to interact with, explore, and re-explore the detailed and robust world of The Storyteller through the lens of The Seven Ravens tale.
Floating with Spirits
Two little sisters prepare for the Day of the Dead in the mystic mountains of Mexico, remembering the stories their shaman granny used to tell. A portal opens as the Mazatec community celebrates and we enter the interactive universe of their ancestors and the spirits of nature, each keeping a secret world to be unveiled.

‘Pearl’ is the Oscar nominated and Emmy award winning animated 360 degree/VR short film made for Google Spotlight Stories and directed by Patrick Osborne. Tuna’s work on the film won a 2017 Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Production Design.
Set inside their home, a beloved hatchback, Pearl follows a girl and her dad as they crisscross the country chasing their dreams. It’s a story about the gifts we hand down and their power to carry love. And finding grace in the unlikeliest of places.
The Book of Distance
An interactive pilgrimage through an emotional geography of immigration and family to recover what was lost.
In 1935, Yonezo Okita left his home in Hiroshima, Japan, and began a new life in Canada. Then war and state-sanctioned racism changed everything—he became the enemy. Three generations later, his grandson, artist Randall Okita, leads us on an interactive virtual pilgrimage through an emotional geography of immigration and family to recover what was lost.
Strange Tales 聊斋
When wind and snow fill the sky and the fire has grown cold, relight the coals, warm the wine, and turn up the wick of the lamp. We enter these tales in the shadows of the night but hopefully emerge into daylight.
Written in China centuries ago, Pu Songling’s Strange Tales are now adapted for the stage by the acclaimed immersive theatre company Grid Iron in co-production with the Traverse Theatre.

Age of Sail
Set on the open ocean in 1900, Age of Sail is the story of William Avery (Ian McShane), an old sailor adrift and alone in the North Atlantic. When Avery reluctantly rescues Lara (Cathy Ang), who has mysteriously fallen overboard, he finds redemption and hope in his darkest hours.
