Description

Founded in 1987, Ellen's Stardust Diner is an American retro-style cafe in New York. It distinguishes itself from other typical diner's though its immersive musical service. The attraction is that the waitresses and waiters perform and sing musical theatre classics around the building, up the stairs and along the balcony, serenading the customers whilst they enjoy fluffy pancakes washed down with a milkshake. The performances are carried out to an incredibly high standard as many of the staff are industry professionals working in Ellen's as a day job, therefore the experience of eating and witnessing the performers there, feels as though you have been transported to a Broadway stage.
