However, winter comes and the animals soon realize that their lives are in danger. What they need is a hero; what they need is Crow: The Legend.

Our first live action story takes place in the middle of downtown Los Angeles where a meteor shower has left a deep scar on the streets of Chinatown. Panic, fear and an alien sends a young woman scrambling to escape. Directed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious, Star Trek Beyond).

‘Pearl’ is the Oscar nominated and Emmy award winning animated 360 degree/VR short film made for Google Spotlight Stories and directed by Patrick Osborne. Tuna’s work on the film won a 2017 Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Production Design.

Set inside their home, a beloved hatchback, Pearl follows a girl and her dad as they crisscross the country chasing their dreams. It’s a story about the gifts we hand down and their power to carry love. And finding grace in the unlikeliest of places.

Set on the open ocean in 1900, Age of Sail is the story of William Avery (Ian McShane), an old sailor adrift and alone in the North Atlantic. When Avery reluctantly rescues Lara (Cathy Ang), who has mysteriously fallen overboard, he finds redemption and hope in his darkest hours.

The line between real and virtual, and truth and fiction, blur as audience members are "cast" as Prospero's spirits to realize an interactive, virtual version of the story.

Fifty years after man first landed on the Moon, Laurie Anderson is flying us all there at MIF19 with To the Moon. Developed with fellow artist Hsin-Chien Huang and presented in the Royal Exchange Theatre’s intimate Studio, To the Moon is a work in two parts: a dreamlike VR experience that takes us on our own lunar exploration, and an accompanying installation with film, images and music.
